As Vitiated entered the realm of Ragnaros, eagerly awaiting their next challenge, a young Paladin and his trusty Fat Arsed Druid Friend waited for their culinary delights to arrive. During this immenent arrivial of deliciousness, the decision was made - we would push for Alysrazor with two very hungry raiders.
A rash decision, one might think, to attempt a new heroic boss whilst two raid members are more concerned about their stomachs, but, with fire (read: Nothing) in their belly, they appeared to be happy with the idea.
So, it began - the battle for 4/7 heroic with the thought of delectable treats on the horizon!
The sound of the Ready Check echoed over Ventrillo as the raiders prepared to face the formidable fire hawk, fully aware two of their rank were close to starvation. We knew a wipe could mean at least a ten minute break, alongside souring the taste of the delightful nourishment.
Concentration levels were at their utmost as the guild wished not to let down their greedy comrades and so, on the first boss attempt of the night, a kill was made.
The hawk was downed with few mistakes, calmly, tidily, swiftly. This night, the young Paladin alongside his hearty Druid companion, feasted like kings!
Lest we forget.

"Welcome to proper raiding", Mr Morchok spoke calmly as he decided to tear himself in two. "I am made of rock and you die now trolol", the two pieces of the once unified boss yelled! (Or did he?).
Even the new threat of a multiple half boss thing didn't put off the mighty Group 1 from Vitiated downing their half and mopping up Group 2's for them!
Grats Vit, lets push a few more down after Christmas.

And so, the corrupted, Old God infested Deathwing has finally be ridden from the world of Azeroth. After the coward, Thrall, quickly hearthed from the scene, the heroes of Vitiated and Dragon Aspects of Azeroth were all that stood between Deathwing and another Cataclysm. Thanks to all the Dragon Aspects and the brave heroes of Vitiated, the word still lives on.
Rejoice at the opening of the heroic mode content.
Good job, guys!
With The Dragon Soul raid coming in the next couple of months, I thought I'd post something about it.
We've seen a few PTR bosses now with the aid of mmo-champion.com and it's looking to be rather enjoyable, if not a little short.
Hopefully this will be an excellent send off to what has been, imo, a rather disappointing expansion, here's hoping for Pandas in 5.0.

So the Dragon Soul raid has opened! After strategic planning to move the raid forward one day due to a Tank having a rubbish working schedule, the Tank showed up late anyway; But that was not to stop Vitiated quickly progressing to 3/8 with only a single Tank.
The late comer, however, proved their worth (or lack of) by returning for a final two boss kills.
Vitiated now stand at 5/8 with two raid days left for the week, disappointed by current boss difficulty on normal mode? I think 'yes' would be the answer.
Edit: After Sunday's raid we are sitting at 6/8. It would have almost certainly been 7/8 if the instance server had not conspired against us to deny our progress.

Finally Vitiated branched out to do the stupid achievements set by Blizzard this time around. Never have I seen such ridiculous 'accomplishments' go next to completion of the heroic content. On the bright side, it's over and done with; We have a shiny purple birdy, too!
